This game is brilliant. So brilliant that I bought four different versions. I have played Strangers and Friends so far. Both great for enriching new or old connections.
I really enjoy these thoughtful questions! The only thing is that for the price of this game, I would really have liked better quality cards. I also have the friends edition and those cards seemed to be a bit better quality than these. When I received this pack, the corners of my cards were damaged. Perhaps this was because there was no divider separating the two decks as there was with the friends edition.
Great for helping with those awkward times meeting someone new. Even if you don’t use it as a game. Find some new questions to add to conversations.
For our freshers' week this year we just put small stacks of these cards on the tables (uncommented), and it worked so well! They're good conversation starters, but instead of falling back into the small talk that's so typical for situations where you don't know your conversation partner, the cards encourage you to go deeper. They work wonderfully when you're speaking with a stranger, but they also do wonders for already existing relationships. So if you can't choose between the friends and the strangers edition, this is definitely a good way to start. 10/10 will buy again (until I have them all)! [International shipping is quite expensive (almost the price of one set of cards if you're in Germany like me), but I'd say it's worth it.]
