I think
0:04
that you're
0:05
definitely scared of being vulnerable,
0:07
and I think that plays into a lot
0:09
of how you feel every day
0:11
with- especially anxiety
0:13
and just constantly worrying.
0:14
I think it's
0:15
I'm not trying to tell you
0:17
that you're afraid
0:18
or make you feel
0:19
that you're wrong,
0:20
but I definitely think that
0:23
you
0:25
do have fears
0:27
and you do not want to admit them
0:29
because you are afraid of
0:30
being vulnerable.
0:32
And I think in the last year or two
0:35
that you've grown a lot from that.
0:36
And I think that you being so loud
0:38
about what you've been through
0:39
and hearing about that
0:41
other women have been through the same things
0:43
and other men
0:44
have been through the same things,
0:45
that it's made it a lot easier on you
0:48
to be less scared of being vulnerable.
0:55
When have you seen me
0:56
the most vulnerable,
0:57
and what have you learned from it?
1:00
I don't know how I'm gonna answer this.
1:02
When have I seen you the most vulnerable?
1:06
Oh my goodness, um...
1:11
When either
1:11
of us is crying.
1:15
So a lot. - Yeah.
1:17
You know.
1:19
Maybe when I gave you
1:21
that card on your birthday
1:22
that has a picture of your dad on it
1:24
and you, like, ran away.
1:26
You literally ran away.
1:29
The first time
1:30
we were at a big social gathering.
1:34
It's- I always remember
1:35
that, it was my friend's movie premiere.
1:38
You've been through a lot last few years
1:43
and there's been yeah,
1:44
there's been some crying moments.
1:47
You were explaining to me
1:50
your treatment options,
1:53
and I didn't understand,
1:55
you know, lupus and
1:57
different types of cancer.
1:59
it wasn't a concern of mine.
2:01
I think
2:02
family stuff makes you vulnerable.
2:04
The first time I saw you cry,
2:07
I remember being really scared.
2:09
No, I just.
2:10
Different memory. I have a different answer:
2:12
when you broke your pelvis bone
2:14
because you got bucked off of Chief
2:17
and you were in the hospital
2:18
with all of those
2:20
like cords
2:21
attached to you, and your face was white
2:23
and you had like
2:24
but on the way there, the frozen bag of peas.
2:27
And like I was just in the back
2:29
trying to make sure
2:29
that you didn't
2:30
pass out, like from the pain or
2:32
shock or whatever,
2:34
like seeing you
2:36
that physically vulnerable.
2:40
I did. I didn't know what to do.
2:42
It was really scary.
2:45
You did good.
2:48
I think when your dad
2:49
had the stroke at the baseball field
2:53
and
2:55
yeah, ________ was there with me,
2:57
and you had to be told what was going on.
3:00
I had never seen you that upset.
3:03
I mean, but you stayed strong.
3:07
You know? You were actually, you know,
3:10
trying to make me feel better
3:12
about myself, too,
3:13
about what was going on.
3:14
You did that because I was scared. - Yeah.
3:16
And I think that was the first time
3:19
I actually saw
3:21
your true, true feelings about your dad.
3:24
I remember
3:24
there was a lot of people there.
3:25
There was like
3:26
some pretty famous people there.
3:28
And I didn't know anyone.
3:29
You didn't know anyone except me.
3:31
And you looked so beautiful
3:32
and I remember
3:33
you had that the middle part, like,
3:36
sort of.
3:36
Yeah. Before you came back. - Whatever, that smokey eye.
